Coaching for Christian women and families

Brian (my husband) and I just completed our fourth team driving week!!! He conspired with our bosses to celebrate the 34th anniversary of when Jesus rescued me from death with a sunset at my favorite place on earth, La Jolla Shores.

It’s been five years since I’ve been at this spot and I’ve missed it every day.

During those five years, at least two were spent hoping and praying that Brian would live.  

Then the prayers were and are for his complete healing from Lupus.

He’s worked as a truck driver, cross country, coming home about once every 7-10 days until now as we team drive.

We’ve both grown so much for the better in the last five years.

One amazing benefit of being a life/family/business coach for the last five years and now in the truck with my husband 24 seven is seeing how all my training in Neuro Linguistic programming has come in handy- I mean, Brian does whatever I want! It’s amazing!!!

But seriously, the Lord has been using all the years to reprogram us into His likeness…

It’s amazing how God has made me so much slower to respond and so much quicker to ask questions.

Brian has grown so much in his willingness to voice his assumptions… Our communication is night and day from when we first married!!! So much healthier!!!

We still love to laugh and sing together.

We still love to learn new ideas- Brian shared a Malcolm Gladwell book with me and while I didn’t understand the point of it, the short stories, like biographies were fascinating and inspired so many new ideas- and I guess that’s a huge part of knowing what makes Brian, Brian! We both love new ideas!

The closeness we feel is truly answered prayer.

If you’ve had to learn how to love anew, if you’ve had to unlearn codependency, if you’ve had to grow in understanding boundaries and grief and have had the enormous blessing of the gift of faith and so has your spouse, then you’ll resonate with this post especially.

I am here to testify that there is a God, that He loves us, that He will make all the wrong things right in His time and that if you confess your sins and repent of them, He will give you new life in every area of your life.

Following Christ is the most intense, bold, difficult thing anyone could ever do. It’s also the best.

Brian and I are dreaming of the tours we will lead, the books each of us will write, the property and healing we will invite people to… We can’t wait and pray for these dreams to serve  others and point people to Jesus!!!

We have a quick day off back in Tennessee with our amazing young adult sons and then we’re off again but stay tuned because while we’re turning and burning on the road, we’re dreaming and scheming of tours, events, coaching, and of course my book for healing SA!!
