From San Diego to New Mexico! Summer Vacation at Grandma's house!

Are you traveling this summer?  Where to?  What do you most look forward to?
Early morning, hair style choices, a lady on the plane, OH MY!

Then!  The first day at Grandma's was going to Grandma's Catholic church and hearing her choir as they sung in Spanish!  Fun fact: My husband is a Spanish teacher even though he didn't grow up speaking spanish!

New Mexico was a special place for me.  The summer before sixth grade was my first summer with Grandma and Grandpa there. They had moved from near us in San Diego, Rancho Bernardo to be exact, and it was really hard on us to not have them near anymore.  But that first summer visit, I started reading the Bible for myself. Looking back, I can see that it was God drawing me to read his word! 

On this day, the summer after seventh grade, I'm ready and able to take on the world! Or at least the airport! I've always loved to travel, taught/spoke/ministered on four continents so far and even in seventh grade, this was true!

God cares about everything in your life!
