What happens in your soul when you've been raped as an 11 yo? You question everything!
Am I going to hate men? Am I going to be a lesbian? Am I ever going to be more than damaged goods?
The promises of God are that what happens to us does not define us! God's word defines us!
When we are in Christ, the old has passed away and the new has come!
God redeemed my sexuality, helping me to believe his word! He helped me to see that value of myself and others and not give into sexual temptation! God is sooo good!
Because of his word, I trusted his plan and I'm so glad I did! I've now been married since 2000 with two amazing sons and God has given us such a sweet family and marriage! To God be the glory, great things he has done!
And he will do great things for you, too when you walk in his ways! He will give you freedom from the temptations of this world! His ways are love and freedom and better and eternal life!
