Coaching for Christian women and families

If we‘ve had a conversation recently, then you know my whole heart and mind are focused on getting my next book finished!  While I still don’t have an official title, I’m referring to it as this: “The Beautiful Story: The roadmap for recovering from Sexual Assault, Rape and Incest and have a thriving marriage and family”.  What a mouthful and what a subject matter!

I‘m deeply encouraged about this book by nearly everyone I meet.  They all have the same response: “This book is sooo needed and get it done!”

Currently, the only obstacle to getting this book done is funding!  I’ve been driving for Uber which gives me the flexibility to jump in and out of writing while also taking care of family life!  I’m amazed at how rich my family life is- we celebrated our younger son’s birthday in March- he turned the big 2-0!!  Then, April was our 24th wedding anniversary.  Just last week, our oldest turned 22 and his dad and I did some arm-twisting to get him and his brother to drive down to Fort Walton beach Florida for two nights.  We only had one day on the beach but what a great reset for all of us.  I came back feeling refreshed like only beach time can do for me…  And hit the ground running. I have a financial goal each day that I drive for Uber and I’m so grateful for all the rides and tips that help me hit that goal.  Usually, I don’t hit the goal but every ride helps!!!  (If that’s YOU, THANK YOU!!!)

My plan is to drive like crazy this week, make sure all the bills are covered and then take next week to make progress on the book.

About writing, some set a clock for a set amount of time each day but this book is different.

For example, I spent the entire month of March researching and meditating on scripture on forgiveness. Then I spent April researching scripture and meditating  on repentance.  I’ve already studied reconciliation and what the Bible says punishment for sex crimes should be.  So I feel like it’s all coming together… With the goal that there is a clear roadmap with steps for what must happen if one is to recover from SA, incest and molestation.  I am so incredibly thankful that Jesus has already laid out the plan and I’m so honored that he taught it to me through his Word and through my own recovery journey.

Gifts! 

1.  We have needs for  a property to use for events here in Hendersonville, Tennessee and also in San Diego and Fort Walton.  This is part of our bigger plan to create events and a retreat location. 

2. Vehicles. We need to replace one vehicle and provide 3 more for us and our sons. 

3.  We need prayers, an ad budget, a graphic designer; basically I need a team to launch this book, course, academy, coaching certification and it all starts with prayer!  

I’m so grateful that I know how to launch this book and brand well and I know it will help so many!! Makes me tear up to think…. Romans 8:28 is true… “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
